So, what is counselling?

Put simply, counselling is often called 'a talking therapy', it gives you the time and space to discuss and explore areas of your life that are causing you difficulties, confusion or emotional pain.

Counselling provides you with the opportunity to talk in confidence, to someone who can remain impartial, who is empathetic and will not criticize
or judge. It can be an enormous relief to be able to talk and share your concerns with someone without feeling you are burdening friends and/or family.

My role as your counsellor is to be there to support, guide and encourage you as you explore and discover a greater understanding and acceptance of your feelings and actions, and to find solutions to your difficulties.
